ETG EDM Workshop

On Thursday 26 September, Engineering Technology Group (ETG) is hosting a Mitsubishi EDM technical workshop at its sophisticated showroom facility in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire.

This FREE training event, held in collaboration with Easy Metal, will focus on the latest technological innovations from Mitsubishi.

The agenda for the event day includes an open forum for questions and discussion and a shop tour of the showroom for you to see the machines in action.

Attendees will learn about developments in applications and services as well as tips and tricks for their Mitsubishi EDM technology, including:

Material compositions and EDM strategy
Improving geometry
Wire choices and modifications
Tips in spark erosion
Effects of water quality and cost control
And many more!

Hands-on demonstrations and display machines

Several display machines will be operating throughout the day, these include:

MP1200
SG12S

Get a hands-on and up-close look at the machines in action and even have a go with them yourself!

These experts will be ready to answer any questions and share handy tips on how to use EDM technology.

AI and Maisart

AI is changing the world in big ways and Mitsubishi wants to be at the forefront of the AI wave coming to radically transform how we interact with technology.

With this in mind, Mitsubishi have focused on creating compact AI additions, using behavioural analysis and deep learning at the core of their state-of-the-art developments.

The event will showcase demonstrations of cutting-edge AI technology in the form of Maisart. Experts at the event will also be discussing the latest Maisart technology, expert eye, X-cam, and machine operation data output.
